Ra'ma um-ir is the voice inside the The Rite. The weapon is sentient. It says that Fox will serve it by crushing the weak and feeding it their souls. Fox tries to trade it to Xinthua but he doesn't want it. It says that is has been long since it has stalked these halls. This tomb, this temple, its birthplace. The party exists the dungeon and Xinthua tells Boris that The Rite is not fit for use. He still wants to destroy the Ink Moths. Xinthua suggests the party rally the Hootsas and Big Al to join them in a massive fight against the Ink Moths. Hilde and Bhudri are playing cards outside the dungeon. The party gets to the Hootsas and Xinthua asks to talk to the council. Nin-sun comes back and demands that DeLos leaves. Xinthua explains the plan of the Bloodmares to do the brunt of the attack, the Hootsas escort the party to the core, and the party will strike the killing blow. Rizzkar is a missing Rizzeer, a Hootsas ninja that has been missing for a few days. She was supposed to infiltrate the Sookamas. She was last seen talking to the Bloodmares in the third level. The party makes it to the Library, everything is empty. All there is are empty bookshelves on the ceiling. There are familiar looking corpses in the a pile. Bameron smells the Bloodmares area, which is odd because he couldn't smell in here at all. Solomon searches the bodies, one of them has a note sowed into their flesh. "Don't leave your messes behind." DeLos asks Fox is The Rite is stuck to his hand. He doesn't know. Bameron and Dirka Darn investigate the room. Bameron smells like mothballs. Dirka Darn holds Fox's hand and dispels the curse from The Rite. Fox screams and drops to the ground. Hilde asks to marry Solomon, he says no. Xinthua gets a feeling that the bookshelves were put on the ceiling recently, and that the bodies were kept here purposefully, and the note was stitched professionally. Xinthua finds a Bloodmares, he asks about how to get to level 5. He says the trap door was pulled out. There is a chute that takes Bloodmares down. Big Al put a chute in the new building the Hootsas built. Xinthua casts Fly on himself and Fox, DeLos carries Dirka Darn. Xinthua asks to see Big Al. The party makes it to Big Al. Xinthua talks to him. Xinthua explains to Big Al that Althum is destroyed. Big Al offers one of his Contiences and everyone under them (12). Xinthua, Fox, and Dirka Darn fall asleep to try to contact their friends in Biis. Bameron found a leather armor suit maker that makes suits out of human skin, he goes hunting for an animal to make a suit or armor. Solomon gets the ingredients for Hilde to make him a cake. DeLos freaks out because all of his money was in Althum so now his plan is months behind. Xinthua, Fox, and Dirka Darn leave the Bloodmares level. Fox notices that DeLos is gone, and even his psychic is gone, gone from everywhere. Solomon and Bameron Anwen hunt 3 fibber hounds. They make it back to the tailor and Solomon notices that his forehead skin is removed to the bone and his skin is stretched tight and bolted. Xinthua, Fox, and Dirka Darn find 2 Bloodmares drained of blood. They are Hilde's victims.
